Bites provides detailed statistics for every piece of content you create. Whether it's a Bite, Playlist, or Quiz, the Stats screen gives you a clear picture of how your audience is engaging with your content.
To access stats, open any Bite, Playlist, or Quiz and tap Stats.
The Total Bar
At the top of every Stats screen, you'll see a Total Bar displaying aggregated numbers for the content you're viewing. The Total Bar updates in real time based on whatever filters you've applied (attributes, organizational hierarchy, shared-with scope, etc.).
Numbers in the Total Bar can be displayed as percentages or absolute numbers, depending on the data format you've selected. When viewing absolute numbers, you'll see the count alongside the total in parentheses — for example, 1,000 (3,000) means 1,000 users out of 3,000.
Bite Stats
Bite Stats are organized into tabs:
Overview Tab
The Overview shows three key metrics at a glance:
Views — How many users opened the Bite. Displayed as a count out of total users (e.g., 1,000 out of 3,000).
Answered — How many users answered the question in the Bite, shown out of the total viewers.
Commented — How many users left a comment, shown out of the total viewers.
All three metrics can be toggled between percentage and absolute number display.
Views Tab
A detailed breakdown of who viewed the Bite, presented as percentages or absolute numbers.
Answers Tab
A detailed breakdown of who answered the question, including individual responses.
Comments Tab
Displays the comment section as an embedded view.
For a detailed breakdown of each tab and how parenthetical totals work, see Bite Stats Explained.
Playlist Stats
Playlist Stats provide insight into how users progress through a multi-Bite playlist. The Total Bar for playlists displays four metrics:
Started — The number of users who interacted with any part of the playlist (typically by opening the first Bite). If the playlist was shared via Communication Hub, this is shown as a count out of total recipients.
Progress — The average progress across all users who started the playlist. This is calculated by dividing the total number of Bites viewed by all started users by the total number of Bites each of those users could have viewed. Progress is always displayed as a percentage.
Completed — The number of users who finished every Bite in the playlist (all Bite progress marked as "done").
Success — The average success rate on questions, calculated only from questions that users actually answered. If a user skipped all questions, their success rate is 0%. Success is always displayed as a percentage.

For a detailed breakdown of calculations and analysis views, see Playlist & Quiz Stats Explained.
Quiz Stats
Quiz Stats track how users perform on assessments. The Total Bar shows three metrics:
Started — How many users began the quiz.
Completed — How many users finished the entire quiz.
Success — The success rate based on questions answered. Always displayed as a percentage.
View By Attributes
Shows Started, Completed, and Success broken down by attributes. Available in both absolute and percentage modes.
View By People
Shows individual success rates (percentage only).
For a detailed breakdown of calculations and analysis views, see Playlist & Quiz Stats Explained.
Guests and External Users
Guest users (people without a Bites account or from other organizations) are counted in the stats if they interact with the content. They are treated as part of the audience once they engage.
For example, if 10 users were in the distribution and 3 guests accessed it, the total audience is 13, and the "Started" counts are based on that total.
What Affects Your Numbers
All stats — including the Total Bar — are affected by:
The Shared With scope (Communication Hub, Organic, or All Users)
Organizational hierarchy (if applicable)
Any filters currently applied
Changing a filter immediately recalculates the Total Bar and all displayed metrics.
