Bites supports six distribution channels through the Communication Hub. Each channel delivers content directly to your employees with personalized messages and automatic login links.

WhatsApp

Employees receive messages from a verified Bites contact with the Bites logo. Each message includes the employee's name and a personalized link for automatic login.

Tip: Ask employees to save the Bites contact so they recognize future messages.

SMS

Content is delivered directly to employees' phones via text message. Each SMS includes a personalized authentication link.

Tip: Encourage employees to save the sending number to their contacts so they recognize future messages.

Email

Bites emails are personalized with the employee's name and include a unique auto-login link.

Email domains: By default, emails are sent from the MyBites domain (e.g., [email protected]). For better delivery rates and lower spam risk, we recommend setting up your organization's own domain (e.g., [email protected]).

To set up a custom email domain:

  1. Create a new email address (e.g., [email protected])

  2. Let us know your DNS host

  3. We'll provide DNS records for you to add to your domain settings

Contact [email protected] to get started.

Slack

Distribute content directly into your employees' Slack workspace. Messages appear with a personalized login link.

Microsoft Teams

Send content through Microsoft Teams with personalized messages and automatic authentication.

Beekeeper

For organizations using Beekeeper, content can be distributed directly through the platform. Beekeeper supports free-text message editing, allowing you to customize the distribution message before sending.

Channel Setup

Available channels are configured at the organization level. If you need to enable a new channel or have questions about channel setup, contact [email protected].

When distributing, if selected recipients don't have the required contact information for the chosen channel, you'll see a notification showing how many users will and won't receive the distribution.
