To send a bite via SMS distribution, follow these steps.
In the dashboard click on “Bites” (1) and then choose the Bite which you want to send (2).
2. Click on “Share bite” (3)
3. Click on “SMS” (4).
4. Choose to whom you wish to send the Bite (5). Everyone is everyone in your workspace, Custom allows you to choose users via previously uploaded user attributes.
5. You can customize the message your end users will receive by typing it up (6). You can preview how the message looks like below. When you are ready, click “Send” (7) (Image 5).
Front-liner Side in SMS distribution
Due to the regulations of Messages, the user on the receiving end in the SMS distribution must first give consent to be able to see the preview of the Bite and the link.
Due to this, when distributing through SMS, this is the message sent to all of the users who have not previously consented:
Once they have responded and saved the contact, they will receive the Bite:
It is important to note that consent only needs to be given once.
Users who have iMessage will receive the message as an iMessage. Those who do not will receive it as a regular SMS.
